​Third-Party Inspections 

TLH Fire is proud to be entrusted by many Authority’s Having Jurisdiction (AHJ’s) to provide third party inspections and acceptance.  With the goal of ensuring timely building permit approvals in mind we have strived to achieve a deep understanding of code requirements and the expectations of the AHJ’s. We are adept at identifying hidden design deficiencies long before inspections, thus avoiding  delays or final acceptance. Our comprehensive inspections cover fire suppression, fire detection and alarm, smoke control, passive fire protection, and other life-safety systems and ensure issues are addressed long before the AHJ conducts final acceptance testing. When necessary, we are happy to offer alternative designs and construction methods for submission to the AHJs prior to inspections or observations.
 
TLH Fire meticulously reviews design drawings to ensure compliance with life safety, fire protection, and accessibility codes and standards. Our comprehensive scrutiny extends from fire protection, to contractor shop drawing submittals, and includes compliance evaluation for fireproofing as well as fire resistance-rated assemblies.
